WELCOME TO THE


Boys & Girls Club of Rutland County

Open to youth ages 6-18
Great Futures Start Here

This is a critical time for youth in Rutland County, and The Boys & Girls Club is focusing on getting prevention to our youth at an earlier age. Our curriculum for the 2015-16 school year is called SMART DIRECTIONS and is derived from the evidence based drug/alcohol education program called SMART MOVES that is offered by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Our efforts will be supported by the newly formed Project Vision, a three pronged strategy approach: Prevention, Treatment and Enforcement.



The work of the Boys and Girls club in Rutland is critical to the collaborative efforts underway in Rutland to address the opiate abuse issues, the issues around family violence and the associated disorder in neighborhoods. The effort to have positive role models in kid's lives is at the core of prevention. The Boys and Girls Club plays a leading role in those efforts,

After-School Hours:

Licensed After-School Program: M-Th 2:30-5:30pm
6-12 yr old Drop In Time: M-Th 5:30-6:30PM & Friday 2:30-6:30PM
Teen Center Drop In: M-F 2:30-6:30PM

Brandon- 2:30pm to 6:30 (Teen Center Ages 13-16)
Brandon- 5:20pm to 6:30pm Mon-Thur (Jr Club Ages 6-12)
Licensed Time (Merchants Row/ Hickory / Brandon)
2:30pm to 5:20pm (Junior Club Ages 6-12)
(Children must be pre-registered -- includes daily snack, dinner,
and homework club)

Nov 22nd: Thanksgiving Dinner (Hours TBA)
