Program Details:

    • Ages Served: 5 – 12
    • Days: Monday – Friday
    • After School Program When Schools in Session: 2:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
    • Snack and Dinner will be provided daily
    • Location: Fair Haven Grade School, 115 North Main Street Fair Haven VT
    • Summer: Location will vary each year – Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm

Summer 2026 – All Slate Valley School summer program will be located at Castleton Elementary School 

Bussing – Will be provided for core program hours (9:30-3:30) *If you need transportation reach out to the director ASAP*

  • July 3rd – Closed
  • Hours – 7:30 – 5:00pm

The After School Program offers homework support, a home cooked meal every day, physical fitness/wellness program and a evidenced based program called “Positive Action”: an early age prevention program.

Typical Daily After School Schedule:
2:50 – 3:05 – Dismissal & Handwashing
3:05 – 3:20 – Snack
3:20 – 3:30 – Team Meeting
3:30 – 4:30 – Enrichment or Programmming
4:30 – 5: 00 – Recess
5:00 – 5:30 – Dinner
5:30 – 6:30 – Open Club
 

Enrichment Schedule : Now – June 5th 

  • Mondays: STEM Club 3:30 – 4:30pm
  • Tuesdays: Chorus Club 3:30 – 4:30pm
  • Wednesday: Lego Club 3:30 – 4:30pm
  • Friday: Gardening Club 4:00 – 5:00pm

Common Questions:

If my child is attending a school club, can they still attend club for before and after? –> Yes!

Does my child have to attend everyday? –> No, can be specific days if needed, just let us know!

When can my kid start and what do I need to fill out? –> Reach out to the Director and get an application and paperwork needed! Once we have a full application and paperwork your director will confirm with you when your member can start!

Where exactly is the program held? –> Our main location will be the cafeteria, some days we will be located in the gym or outside as weather permits. If we are not in our main location, we will let you know!

How does pick up work? –> If we are in the cafeteria feel free to knock on the cafeteria door and come on in! If we are outside or in the gym, you can call our club phone number (802-772-5501) and we will bring them out!
